Pre-Order A 2024 Honda Prologue
Modern Design
The design of the all-new Prologue, both inside and out, is led by the Honda design team in Los Angeles. Their goal is to create a modern and fresh SUV with sleek and simple lines. The team consists of young designers who are dedicated to this vision.
In the Prologue, they introduced the concept of “neo-rugged” design, which seamlessly blends natural elements into both the exterior and interior. This can be seen in features like the panoramic roof and impressive 21-inch wheels, which give the model a strong and
sturdy appearance. The front fascia of the Prologue takes inspiration from the distinctive design of the Honda e EV model.
Masaki Sumimoto, who is in charge of designing the Colour, Materials, and Finish for Honda, shared that their objective was to develop a design that is both sleek and in line with the tough and robust image that an SUV represents. They successfully accomplished
this by carefully selecting and coordinating colors and materials that embody the neo-rugged design aesthetic that Honda customers are familiar with.
In order to strengthen the recognition of the Honda EV brand, the traditional “H-mark” badge at the back of the vehicle has been substituted with the complete Honda brand name, presented in a stylish font that reflects the modern and sleek design of the Prologue.
Furthermore, in line with Honda’s electric vehicle models worldwide, the Prologue will feature the brand’s e: series name badging. This will help to enhance the overall identity of the Honda EV brand and align it with the global EV lineup.
Spacious Interior
The Prologue offers a generous amount of space, with an interior volume of more than 2900 litres, providing ample room for passengers and cargo. The cabin of the Prologue is filled with cutting-edge technology, including a standard 11-inch digital driver display and
an impressive 11.3-inch infotainment display.
Year Of The Honda SUV
In the current year, Honda has placed its attention on their SUV range, consisting of the HR-V, CR-V, CR-V Touring Hybrid, and Pilot models. These particular models hold significance as they pave the way for Honda’s upcoming electric vehicle (EV) sales, beginning
with the Prologue in 2024. The Prologue, designed with all-wheel drive, targets customers who lead an active lifestyle and seek the versatility of an SUV, while also valuing the environmental advantage of zero emissions.
According to Steve Hui, Honda Canada’s assistant vice president, the all-new Prologue is a major advancement in Honda’s electric vehicle plan for North America. Hui also points out that the Prologue is a logical next step for those who are interested in Honda EVs,
especially with the upcoming launch of the CR-V hybrid, which will be made in Canada and will be accessible to customers this autumn.
According to Honda’s research, customers who buy hybrid-electric vehicles are more inclined to switch to fully electric vehicles as time goes on. Therefore, Honda intends to raise the proportion of hybrid sales in the CR-V model to 50%.
More information about the Prologue will be shared in the coming months, you can find details on Honda Canada’s website.
